Cusco
The meaning of the word CUSCO comes from the Quechua word QOSQO which means navel, attributed to "The center or navel of the world."
The Inca civilization left a conglomerate of places and buildings whose structures reveal a profound knowledge of astronomy as well as an astonishing development in mathematics. There are many studies which prove the theory that the Incas' Sacred Valley - which unites Pisaq, Ollantaytambo and Machu Picchu - was planned to resemble the Milky Way on Earth.

Our 7-day program includes the cities of Lima and Cusco. It will allow us to clean and purify the Aura, meditate and travel to sacred places, which are of archaeological importance but at the same time serve to ask for health, money or love.
There were three main periods of the year in which the Incas celebrated important rituals. The first of these was Inti Raymi, an agricultural feast usually held in April or May. During this celebration, the people expressed their appreciation to the Sun and other gods for the crops and the increase in livestock.
The second important period was referred to as Coya Raymi. This period took place in September, with the coming of the first rain, and included rituals meant to protect the towns and the governing groups from all evils. Capac Raymi, which was celebrated in December, was the third period of importance for the celebration of rituals.
These were liturgical celebrations of a more political nature during which the youths who would later form the military and political elite were chosen.
